2024 Challenge is inspired by Global Fabric Art. This may be any folk/ethnic fabric art such as Molas, Sashiko, Kantha, Amish, Hmong, Bargello, Provencal, etc The reveal is at the June meeting, first showing will be at the Maine Quilt show, and than it travels around the state of Maine.


 Finished quilts must be no less than 100" in Perimeter, and no more than 60" on a side. 
Quilt must have a 4" or wider hanging sleeve.
Add a Label. Minimum information on the label includes Quilt Title and Artist's Name and Contact Information.
Decide if you want your quilt to travel, and if you want it to be for sale (and the price.)
Travel quilts must be in a bag that is at least as long as the sleeve, with your name and contact information clearly visible both on the bag and on your quilt label.
TIMELINE: No later than April 13 (the April meeting) Rana needs your Name, Quilt Title, Dimensions W x L, and price or not-for-sale. The info is  compiled and registers the challenge quilts for Maine Quilts. 
The Reveal is on June 8. (AQM June meeting) If you can't be there, send your quilt with someone. They are collected that day for Maine Quilts. 
Quilts are returned at the June meeting the following year (may be later if they are still on display in June.)

​Location: Buker Community Center, 22 Armory Street, Augusta, Maine (see map below) Directions: Maine Turnpike Exit 109 A, (ME 17/ ME 100/ US 202/ western Ave.) turn right towards Augusta on Western Ave. Turn right on Armory St (.6 mile). Buker Community Center is immediately on right. the parking lot may be full at times because of other activities at the center, parking is permitted around the entire building (bring a rolling cart for ease). Enter through the front entrance.
